New style - the hinge breakpoint is half way through the ring, allowing for a larger opening which many find easier to fit onto nostril and daith among other piercings. They are made from ASTM F136 implant grade titanium. The hinge is solid and secure, it is open and closed with fingers, no tools necessary.
